Autonomous Golf Cart

The Autonomous Golf Cart is a multi-disciplinary project which aims to combine the expertise of students from Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in order to create a robotic golf cart capable of navigating to a specified location by following a paved or off-road path, avoiding obstacles and interacting with spectators. This year, the Autonomous Golf Cart Team is endeavoring to improve the computer vision systems, and create a new and innovative means of crowd interaction. The project will culminate with the completion of the software by the CS team, the completion of microcontrollers by the ECE team, and, finally, the re-design of the frame, motor and steering systems by the ME team.
